Runway 34, starring Ajay Devgn, was released on April 29. The aviation thriller had a lacklustre opening weekend at the movie office, but it improved on the second day. On Saturday, April 30, the box office collections for Runway 34 increased by 55 to 60%. According to reports, the film grossed between Rs 4.75 and Rs 5.25 crore on its second day. As a result, the total collections have now reached Rs 8 crore.

Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Boman Irani, and Carry Minati star in Ajay Devgn's third directorial effort, Runway 34. Unfortunately, the picture began with low-scoring figures. On Day 2, though, things picked up. Several people came to the theatres to see the film due to great word of mouth. Runway 34 is one of the few films to increase by 50% or more on day two. This raises the possibility of a second jump on Sunday, May 1. To break the Rs 40-lakh barrier in its lifetime run, the film needs to gross at least Rs 6.50 crore to Rs 6.75 crore on Sunday.
